WE STOPPED TEACHING WHAT OUR HISTORY PRODUCED

Their are so many, many instances in our culture derived from ancient cultures. We are a product of what was before us. At the same time we are disconnected from our history insofar as we do not realize that our way of life is handed down. For example, the ancient Temples were the center of most societies in the ancient world. When we look at the capitol building in our America, or Buckingham Palace, England, virtually all "Advanced" societies have a capital city of central government. This is not a development in the modern world but rather a centuries old reality.

I am reminded of a verse in scripture:

JPS Tanakh 1917
When the Most High gave to the nations When He separated the children of men, He set the borders of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 32:8

As I study the Temples of Israel as well as the Temple that was in Eden, it becomes clear to me that the cycles of humanity and all that we do are set in place by the authority of God Almighty. In other words, we are not the progenitors of what happens tomorrow. I was thinking about the Capital building in Washington DC realizing the building itself is a Temple. It represents the heart of our Republic.

Professor Skip Moen says, "The further we move away from God the less human we become." I would add too, history becomes subjective while truth becomes blurred. Well, as I looked at the Capitol building I began to realize the truth is all around me. We are living within the history that caused us to be here.

If we consider the world of the ancient Kings or Suzerains and the vassal states that surrounds the
Kingdoms the United States of America is one of the finest examples that we have of a Central Kingdom with 50 states surrounding her Temple. When we consider the ancient Cast Systems it is quite easy to see how anti semitism, bigotry, and racism are born from these societal divisions. We also can quite easily see the concepts of honor and shame in our political systems in full view. Honor and shame is still a societal reality. Just ask any politician.
The problem is in the fact that most of our society does not know this history or make these connections to all of our pasts. We inexorably live in the moment, whatever the moment has to offer is what we are connected to. Put another way, we live in a moment or two disconnected from our history.

Without our history as a people we cannot help but to have an identity crisis. The ills of our society become our society. Most societies collapse or begin to collapse when the people become divided against themselves and their history....History offers unmitigated proof of this process, but who knew?

Returning to the God who set the borders of the nations, who created the Temple concept, who offered the societies, the Kingdoms and history in the first place is how we begin to see truth.
We did not design this experience nor are we the creators of life.........
The proof, is all around us! So too, are the lies that all of us have inherited.

Nikki Haley Addresses The World Like A Boss [Concerning Israel]

I have watched this three times.........
You see I understand what the building up of Zion is all about!
The fact that the United States of America has a president who is properly standing with Israel is in my opinion, a gigantic plus for this nation against the GODLESSNESS so overwhelmingly displayed through many within the Democrat Party and within the Republican Party, and most of the American Media and most of Hollywood. I watched this, understanding fully the hatred our former president Barack Obama has for anything Jewish!

"Haley’s Comet"

Source: Editorial of The New York Sun | February 16, 2017 | on Nikki Haley

A star is born is our reaction to the first press briefing by President Trump’s new ambassador at the United Nations. The ex-governor of South Carolina was ridiculed by the Left when the president first sent her nomination up to the Hill, owing to her alleged lack of foreign policy chops. She certainly rang the wake up gong for that crowd this morning, after emerging from her first Security Council monthly meeting devoted to the Middle East. Tough as nails but with a smile and a layer of Southern charm.

The ambassador had just come from the regular monthly Security Council on Middle East issues. She said it was her first such meeting, and “it was a bit strange.” The Security Council, she said, is supposed to discuss how to maintain international peace and security. But the meeting, she said, was not about Hezbollah’s illegal buildup of rockets in Lebanon, it was not about the money and weapons Iran provides to terrorists, it was not how we defeat ISIS, it was not how we hold Beshar al-Assad accountable for the slaughter of thousands of civilians.

“No,” she said, “instead the meeting focused on criticizing Israel, the one true democracy in the Middle East. I am new around here, but I understand that’s how the Council has operated month after month for decades. I am here to say the United States will not turn a blind eye to this anymore. I am here to underscore to the ironclad support of the United States for Israel. I am here to emphasize that the United States is determined to stand up to the U.N.’s anti-Israel bias.”

The ambassador made clear that the Trump administration will not support the kind of resolution from which the Obama administration’s ambassador — Samantha Power — shamefully abstained, though Mrs. Haley was too polite to name the humiliated Ms. Power. “The outrageously biased resolutions from the Security Council and the General Assembly only make peace harder to attain by discouraging one of the parties from going to the negotiating table.”

“Incredibly,” Mrs. Haley said, “the U.N. department of political affairs has an entire division devoted entirely to Palestinian affairs. Imagine that. There is no division devoted to illegal missile launches form North Korea. There is no division devoted to the world’s number one state sponsor of terror, Iran. The prejudiced approach to Israeli-Palestinian issues does the peace process no favors, and it bears no relationship to the reality of the world around us. The double standards are breathtaking.”
The ambassador warned that it is “the U.N.’s anti-Israel bias that is long overdue for change,” and said America will not hesitate to speak out in defense of its friend in Israel. All this was going on while the press was questioning President Trump on what he was going to do about anti-Semitism. If his ambassador to the world body is any example, the answer is plenty. She has the principles of a Daniel Patrick Moynihan, the grit of a John Bolton, and the star power of a Jeane Kirkpatrick, and in her first press briefing she certainly made her point.

From Nigga Haters to Negro Saviors, "Clap your hands everybody!"

Before you read this post know this about me. The God that I serve is not Color Blind. Rather, he is Color Beautiful. We are the ones with the bad eye site and dark hearts.
I listen to many, many black folk today talk about how the Democrat Party is for black people. Many almost sing and dance while clapping and shouting over the virtue of the party. What many are saying to me vicariously [and of course, they do not realize it] is this: The Democrat party helped our ghettos get much, much bigger, destroyed our families and have socially engineered our stupidity. (I chose not to use the word ignorance on purpose.) When I am called an Uncle Tom or worse this is what goes on inside of my soul about the person doing the name calling. How can I make a living off of this fool?
Quite a few of these very people open up the Bible to learn about history and faith while hating Donald Trump and folks like me...deception is like that! While reading the following article by Kimberly Bloom Jackson I remembered reading a quote by George Santayana 1905
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Kimberly Bloom Jackson recalls the actual past. I know it well....Do You?

The Secret Racist History of the Democratic Party

Have you heard of Josiah Walls or Hiram Rhodes Revels? How about Joseph Hayne Rainey? If not, you’re not alone. I taught history and I never knew half of our nation’s past until I began to re-educate myself by learning from original source materials, rather than modern textbooks written by progressive Democrats with an agenda.

Interestingly, Democrats have long ago erased these historic figures from our textbooks, only to offer deceitful propaganda and economic enticements in an effort to convince people, especially black Americans, that it’s the Democrats rather than Republicans who are the true saviors of civil liberties. Luckily, we can still venture back into America’s real historical record to find that facts are stubborn things. Let’s take a closer look.

An 1872 print by Currier and Ives depicts the first seven black Americans elected to the U.S. Congress during the Reconstruction period of 1865 to 1877-- and they’re all Republican!

Sen. Hiram Rhodes Revels, R-MS (1822-1901): Already an ordained minister, Revels served as an army chaplain and was responsible for recruiting three additional regiments during the Civil War. He was also elected to the Mississippi Senate in 1869 and the U.S. Senate in 1870, making him America’s first black senator.

Rep. Benjamin Turner, R-AL (1825-1894): Within just five years, Turner went from slave to wealthy businessman. He also became a delegate to the Alabama Republican State Convention of 1867 and a member of the Selma City Council in 1868. In 1871, Turner was even elected to the U.S. Congress.
Rep. Robert DeLarge, R-SC (1842-1874): Although born a slave, DeLarge chaired the Republican Platform Committee in 1867 and served as delegate at the Constitutional Convention of 1868. From 1868 to 1870, he was also elected to the State House of Representatives and later Congress, serving from 1871 to 1873.

Rep. Josiah Walls, R-FL (1842-1905): Walls was a slave who was forced to fight for the Confederate Army until he was captured by Union troops. He promptly enlisted with the Union and eventually became an officer. In 1870, he was elected to the U.S. Senate. Unfortunately, harassing Democrats questioned his qualifications until he was officially expelled. Although he was re-elected after the first legal challenge, Democrats took control of Florida and Walls was prohibited from returning altogether.

Rep. Jefferson Long, R-GA (1836-1901): Long was also born into slavery, and he too became a successful business man. However, when Democrats boycotted his business he suffered substantial financial loses. But that didn’t stop Long, who in 1871 became the first black representative to deliver a congressional speech in the U.S. House.

Rep. Joseph Hayne Rainey, R-SC (1832-1887): Although born a slave, Rainey became the first black Speaker of the U.S. House for a brief period in 1870. In fact, he served in Congress longer than any other black America at that time.

Rep. Robert Brown Elliot, R-SC (1842-1884): Elliot helped to organize the Republican Party throughout rural South Carolina. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1870 and reelected in 1872. In 1874, he was elected to the State House of Representatives and eventually served as Speaker of the House in the State Legislature.

Clearly, the latter half of the 19th Century, and for much of the early half of the 20th Century, it was the Republican Party that was the party of choice for blacks. How can this be? Because the Republican Party was formed in the late 1850s as an oppositional force to the pro-slavery Democratic Party. Republicans wanted to return to the principles that were originally established in the republic’s founding documents and in doing so became the first party to openly advocated strong civil rights legislation. Voters took notice and in 1860 Abraham Lincoln was elected President along with a Republican Congress. This infuriated the southern Democrats, who soon afterwards left Congress and took their states with them to form what officially became known as The Slaveholding Confederate States of America.

Meanwhile, Republicans pushed full steam ahead. Take, for example, the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution that officially abolished slavery in 1864. Of the 118 Republicans in Congress (House and Senate) at the time, all 118 voted in favor of the legislation, while only 19 of 82 Democrats voted likewise. Then there’s the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments guaranteeing rights of citizenship and voting to black males. Not a single Democrat voted in favor of either the Fourteenth (House and Senate) or Fifteenth (House and Senate) Amendments.

In spite of this, in almost every Southern state, the Republican Party was actually formed by blacks, not whites. Case in point is Houston, Texas, where 150 blacks and 20 whites created the Republican Party of Texas. But perhaps most telling of all with respect to the Republican Party’s achievements is that black men were continuously elected to public office. For example, 42 blacks were elected to the Texas legislature, 112 in Mississippi, 190 in South Carolina, 95 representatives and 32 senators in Louisiana, and many more elected in other states -- all Republican. Democrats didn’t elect their first black American to the U.S. House until 1935!

Political Gangs With Pointy Hoods
By the mid-1860s, the Republican Party’s alliance with blacks had caused a noticeable strain on the Democrats’ struggle for electoral significance in the post-Civil War era. This prompted the Democratic Party in 1866 to develop a new pseudo-secret political action group whose sole purpose was to help gain control of the electorate. The new group was known simply by their initials, KKK (Ku Klux Klan).

This political relationship was nationally solidified shortly thereafter during the 1868 Democratic National Convention when former Civil War General Nathan Bedford Forrest was honored as the KKK’s first Grand Wizard. But don’t bother checking the Democratic National Committee’s website for proof. For many years, even up through the 2012 Presidential Election, the DNC had omitted all related history from 1848 to 1900 from their timeline -- half a century worth! Now, for the 2016 election cycle, they’ve scratched even more history. Apparently, they believe it’s easier to just lie and claim to have fought for civil rights for over 200 hundred years, while seeing fit to list only a select few distorted events as exemplary, beginning as late as the 1920s. Incredibly, the DNC conveniently jumps past more than 100 years of American history!

Nevertheless, this sordid history is still well documented. There’s even a thirteen-volume set of Congressional investigations dating from 1872 detailing the Klan’s connection to the Democratic Party. The official documents, titled Report of the Joint Select Committee to Inquire Into the Condition of Affairs in the Late Insurrectionary States, irrefutably proves the KKK’s prominent role in the Democratic Party.

One of the most vivid examples of collusion between the KKK and Democratic Party was when Democrat Senator Wade Hampton ran for the governorship of South Carolina in 1876. The Klan put into action a battle plan to help Democrats win, stating: “Every Democrat must feel honor bound to control the vote of at least one Negro by intimidation…. Democrats must go in as large numbers…and well-armed.” An issue of Harper’s Weekly that same year illustrated this mindset with a depiction of two white Democrats standing next to a black man while pointing a gun at him. At the bottom of the depiction is a caption that reads: “Of Course He Wants To Vote The Democratic Ticket!”

This is reminiscent of the 2008 Presidential election when members of the New Black Panther Party hung out at a Philadelphia precinct wielding big batons.
The Klan’s primary mission was to intimidate Republicans -- black and white. In South Carolina, for example, the Klan even passed out “push cards” -- a hit list of 63 (50 blacks and 13 whites) “Radicals” of the legislature pictured on one side and their names listed on the other. Democrats called Republicans radicals not just because they were a powerful political force, but because they allowed blacks to participate in the political process. Apparently, this was all too much for Democrats to bear.

By 1875, Republicans, both black and white, had worked together to pass over two dozen civil rights bills. Unfortunately, their momentum came to a screeching halt in 1876 when the Democratic Party took control of Congress. Hell bent on preventing blacks from voting, Southern Democrats devised nearly a dozen shady schemes, like requiring literacy tests, misleading election procedures, redrawing election lines, changing polling locations, creating white-only primaries, and even rewriting state constitutions. Talk about disenfranchising black voters!

There were also lynchings, but not what you might think. According to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, between 1882 and 1964 an estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,279 whites were lynched at the hands of the Klan.

Today, the Democratic Party no longer needs the help of political gangs wearing pointy hoods to do their dirty work. Instead, they do it themselves. You may recall the case of black Tea Party activist Kenneth Gladney, who was brutally beaten by two SEIU members during a 2009 health care town hall meeting. In February 2011, a union thug with Communications Workers of America was caught on tape physically assaulting a young female FreedomWorks activist in Washington, DC. Then in 2012, Michigan Education Association President Steve Cook jumped on the protest bandwagon against the state’s new right-to-work legislation stating, “Whoever votes for this is not going to have any peace for the next two years.” An even worse threat was issued on the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives the next day by Democratic Representative Douglas Geiss who charged, “There will be blood!”

As we forge ahead into this critical 2016 election season, let us not forget the real history of America when blacks and whites, primarily Republicans, worked side by side defending the rights and dignity of all Americans. It’s a history that has been kept out of the history books--a history that today’s Democrats routinely lie about while promptly pointing their finger at Republicans, calling white Republicans racists and black Republicans Uncle Toms. This is because Democrats have a secret past that must be protected and an agenda that must be fulfilled. If history is any indication of what the future might hold, brace yourself. There will be some in the Democratic Party who will be prepared to do whatever it takes to silence any opposition.

I Have Never Met Pam Staley

It was in 2007 that I contacted Passion For Truth Ministries. A woman answered the phone. I was wanting to order a DVD presentation by a guy named Jim Staley who I knew next to nothing about. I had watched this young man share a very different message on God's Learning Channel, a message I had never heard before. I dialed the number in order to place my order. Pam Staley answered the phone. We probably talked for two hours...I just wanted to order the DVD!
On this day, during that phone call a friendship was born. I was sent 10 DVD's "on the house!"

I used those DVD's during my bible studies giving all but one away. One particular Shabbat our little group [which rotated from Tigard, Oregon to Vancouver, Washington every other week] studied the information on the DVD from 10:00 in the morning until midnight. My trek into understanding the Bible, studying the Bible differently began that day. Something amazing was happening!

I have spoken a few times with Pam over the years. I have seen, from a distance tremendous difficulty in her life and within her family. I have listened to her heart, her frustration, and her resolve. I understand how we all need one another, sometimes in big ways, others times not so big. What I understand most about Pam is that she is first a wife, a mother and one who resembles all of us. Life is hard sometimes, most of the time. [and we all know about those unbearable times] I have seen all of this over the course of these last 10 years in Pam's world. Nevertheless, I met her vicariously over the phone because of our love for the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Pam is not afraid of her vulnerability nor is she afraid of the unknown. She has learned, like most of us to simply do what needs to get done. Well, in this instance what needs to be done is for many of us to help her and her husband. She is not afraid of letting us know this and reaching out to those who would care. I care.....

I don't have to say anything more about someone I have yet to meet face to face. I know her...she is like all of us. One day, in God's perfect will I will give to Pam Staley a hug that will not be over due. It will be very much like me giving to my mom...a hug. Please help her and her husband, Jim overcome this problem too! https://www.youcaring.com/jimpamstaley-754990

We most certainly will as soon as the next pay check happens...Yup, we understand!

Supporting Senator Tim Scott

I thank Almighty God that the light of TORAH which is foundation concerning the Gospels and God in the flesh has brightened up my understanding of forgiveness, honoring my neighbors and cherishing the promises made to Abraham. Being grafted into the Kingdom of YAHWEH is something the folks who exist within the 'Plantation Nation' are able to do as well but...they must "COME OUT OF HER" (Whose your Baby-lon?)

Yo'canon (John) 12:46
I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.

Genesis 19:14
Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, and said, "Up, get out of this place, for the LORD will destroy the city." But he appeared to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

Isaiah 48:20
Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with the sound of joyful shouting, proclaim this, Send it out to the end of the earth; Say, "The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob."

Isaiah 52:11
Depart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the LORD.

Jeremiah 50:8
"Wander away from the midst of Babylon And go forth from the land of the Chaldeans; Be also like male goats at the head of the flock.

Jeremiah 51:6
Flee from the midst of Babylon, And each of you save his life! Do not be destroyed in her punishment, For this is the LORD'S time of vengeance; He is going to render recompense to her.

Jeremiah 51:9
We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed; Forsake her and let us each go to his own country, For her judgment has reached to heaven And towers up to the very skies.

Jeremiah 51:45
"Come forth from her midst, My people, And each of you save yourselves From the fierce anger of the LORD.

2 Corinthians 6:17
"Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

Revelation18:4
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don't receive of her plagues,

YOU DID NOT HAVE TO GIVE A DIME♥

5

I received a couple more donations for the Fundly project that I started in order to take money to 25 girls who live in a home, safe! This is as a result of Rick Daviscourt answering a call to rescue children. He will tell you, "God sent me to Peru!"
Nathan Grapes and I have come to know Rick and what he goes through in order to raise funds to keep the home afloat, This is more a full time job for him in addition to taking care of the girls many of whom have lived through horrifying experiences. I know, Rick and I have cried together as he recants various experiences these children have endured. Through Rick's friendship and thirst to reconnect Torah back to the Gospel I decided to support Restoring Children International anyway that I could. Rather than give to organizations through television ads or sponsoring ministry projects I look at Restoring Children International as a place whereby I can be involved in making a difference.

I have interviewed people who do this sort of thing around the globe. I decided to do one thing for one organization that helps children as a result of what these people shared with me. Rick Daviscourt was a meeting I believe, orchestrated by the Ruach. I am delighted to be heading to Peru to see first hand the changed lives of these girls and also to see first hand something I cannot see sitting in front of this computer. I trust Abba, Father will provide all that is need...My plane fare is already purchased and the rest of what I need will also be provided of this I am certain. To those of you who have opened up your wallets and purses I want to say THANK YOU...None of you had to give a dime yet you have. I am writing this to say, from the depth of the spirit gifted to me by YEHOVAH our Creator....THANK YOU, To GOD BE THE GLORY.

We have a long way to go in order to reach our goal ($7500.00) but even if that does not happen, what you have done...did happen👏
https://fundly.com/going-to-peru-to-help-restoring-children…

I would ask you to consider finding an organization that helps widows and children. Get personally involved, make a difference... It will be a blessing to you and others; of this I am proof!
"If WE DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GETS DONE!"
We cannot do everything but we can do one thing 🙌

New post on Pilgrim's Light for the Path

The Mission of Pilgrim’s Light

by Pilgrim's Light

pilgrims-light-logo-2015

Why the Name Pilgrim's Light?

Growing up I had a copy of Little Pilgrim's Progress that I read until the cover fell off. Since then, I have read the adult version numerous times. The idea of following a path to the Celestial City and reading all of the allegories and learning what they meant fascinated me. So what sent the hero of the book, a man named Christian, on this epic journey? It was the Bible.
"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." -Psalm 119:105
God's Word bring light into the darkness. Moral clarity in a world of gray compromise. Coming out of the darkness and into the light is a major theme in the Bible beginning when the first light dawns in Genesis.
This makes those who would follow after God, pilgrims along the path to God's dwelling place. The city of light that rests on a hill where the eternal temple of light shines into the Universe. So the name Pilgrim's Light is meant to evoke this imagery.

So What is the Mission?

The entire mission of Pilgrim's Light is to bring the light of God's Word to those who are seeking Him. Those who are seeking the path to His dwelling place. In a practical way Pilgrim's light as a ministry exists to encourage daily Bible reading, Bible study, and daily application of God's Word. The first thing that we focus on is the discipline of daily Bible reading. Everyone reading their Bible everyday!
Our three focus points are:
  1. Bible Reading.
  2. Bible Memorization.
  3. Bible Study.

Why All of This Focus on the Bible?

We focus on the Bible because this is the primary means by which we receive information from God. Through the Bible we learn every instruction that God wants to teach us. How could we ever know what we should be doing unless we have read the instruction book? A thorough understanding of the Bible is the key to following God.

Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding

These three things make up what in means to know Scripture. Knowledge is knowing specific facts about the Bible. Wisdom is seeing how the Bible is to be applied in situations. Understanding is putting what the Bible says into daily practice. It is the core of a Believer's lifestyle, following God through His Word.

How We Help People

Our primary ministry is sending out daily Bible Readings through e-mail. Along with this we use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, this blog, and our website to promote the Bible. We also develop courses to help others learn the Bible. with our Basic Bible Study Method we train people on how to study the Bible. Our next course in progress is Memorize Scripture. With this we will train people on our accelerated memorization method.

Want to Join With Us?

If you have read this far maybe it is because you feel the same way about the Bible as we do. If so then we would ask for you to join with us and help us get the word out about our ministry. Our greatest need right now is for exposure. So we would ask that you take a moment to visit our Support page where you can easily connect with us on our social media outlets. Another thing that you could do is subscribe to our Daily Bible Reading and read through the Bible with us. We hope that whatever you do you grow in the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of God's Word, the Bible.
