About three months ago a nagging question kept leaping back and forth across my conscious. Equally, I continue to wonder why so many people toss out the New Testament or Brit Chadasha, proper when returning to the root of Christianity or, Judaism. Even more so is why do so many pick up the traditions within Judaism that Messiah, (Yeshua) rejected?) So, I have been quietly asking YHVH to show me what happens.....The Elohim of Israel keeps impressing into my spirit, "I am in the beginning, with Moses, Hung on the tree and I am He who is preparing to bring forward my Kingdom into this earth...This is like a melody in my soul. I think we are misunderstanding the roll of Messiah in the earth........and the roll of YHVH

Okay, so here is the question (You will think this is silly but here goes): God why does Jesus, YESHUA proper not have a mother but, Cain and Abel did?
I begun to inquiry of my God for answer to this question about three months ago

Matt 3:16-17 And having been (baptised), Yeshua went up immediately from the water. And Behold! The heavens were opened up and the Spirit of Elohim coming down as a dove and coming upon Him. And Behold! A voice came out of heaven saying, "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased."
Everyone hearing this voice and the comment would know EXACTLY where it came from. They had heard it before...
Tehillim (psalm) 2:6 Yea, I have established (set) My King on My holy Mount on Zion.
2:7 I will declare concerning the statute of YeHoVaH: He said to Me, "You are My Son. Today I have begotten You.
2:8 Ask of Me and I will give the nations as our inheritance; and as Your possession the ends of the earth."
2 points of discussion here:
1. The King spoken of here is not David. It is the "Greater David", King Yeshua. The promises in Tehillim 2:8 go beyond Davidic promises. King David was never promised the nations as his inheritance or the earth as his possession. Only 1 has been given world dominion.
2. What does it mean "begotten"? Well, to understand this we must understand ancient near East covenants (ANEC).
In an ANEC, there is a Mighty King, or Suzerain, and a lesser king, or vassal. The Mighty King (Suzerain) would make a treaty to protect, support, etc. the lesser king (vassal) in exchange for allegiance. At the time of the execution ("cutting") of the covenant agreement the Great King would announce that the vassal king was now his son. The vassal king would announce that the Great Suzerain was now his father. Obviously, there was not a sudden change of blood lines. They were not biologically related but the father-son language expressed the establishment of co-regency. That is- the vassal would act on behalf of the Suzerain, with His authority, under His direction. The Vassal would rule and if one disobeyed they would answer to the Great Suzerain.
Now, here is where it gets sticky...Yeshua is not just the son of Elohim... He IS Elohim on the ground. The father-son language was used because it was what people 2000+ years ago would understand. It was a concept they were already familiar with.
This is the basis of a Suzerain-Vassal Treaty, which by definition is an Ancient Near East Covenant.
Jeremiah 31:31-33 talks about a new covenant...Yeshua, at the Pesach, talked about the new covenant... Both passages have to do with obeying Torah by having it on our inward parts...
Can you see how this all fits into the gospel as it was described by Isaiah 52:7? How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him proclaiming GOOD NEWS, making peace heard, bearing tidings of good, making heard salvation, saying to Zion, "YOUR ELOHIM REIGNS."
Our Elohim Reigns is good news. He established it in His Torah, described it in His Tehillim, confirmed it by His prophets, and made it come to pass in the life and blood of Yeshua.
2nd: As I re-read this post before putting out there I realize that this may be a new thought for many and that it comes across harsh (or even angry), which I am not. I am passionate to know the truth and to share what He has shared with me. Please feel free to comment, share, tell me I am wrong, etc. I have no ego to worry about bruising. It is about Him not me.
Yesterday we discussed the deity of Yeshua. Most Christians recognize Him as the "Son of Elohim/God". (See my earlier post on covenants and father/son language for more on that).
What we need to really see is that He IS Elohim.
He said so Himself and in no uncertain language. He said so in a way that the religious leaders listening to Him understood what He was saying, they just didn't believe Him. Every time they accused Him of blasphemy it was because He made Himself equal to Elohim. Imagine that! He IS Elohim.
Lets explore a small amount. For time sake I will give the Scripture references but not type in all the verses.
Echad = "one". But it suggests parts or components. Yachid is absolute singularity. Gen 1 has evening and morning as day echad but notice it is 2 parts. Deut. 6:4, the shema, has YeHoVaH echad. There are multiple places in the Scripture where it talks about YeHoVaH in plurality: Elohim speaks in "voices". Elohim is our "Makers". Thrones in heaven. (Daniel 7:9-14).
Now look at:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with Elohim and the Word was Elohim.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and "tabernacled" among us. (Sukkah is more specific).
So here we have John stating it plainly: The Word is Elohim, the Word was made flesh: i.e. Yeshua is the Word (Elohim) made flesh.
Now, here is where it gets interesting. Yeshua said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life."
The Torah (Word) calls itself "the Way": Exodus 18:20, 32:8, Deut 13:15, Tehillim 119:1, 119, 35, 119:142, and more.
The Torah (Word) calls itself "the Truth": Malachi 2:6, Prov 22:21, Tehillim 33:4, 119:151, 119:142, 25:10...
The Torah (Word) calls itself "the Life": Tehillim 119:50, 119:93, Prov 4:22...
Now look at the word Echad again. The photo I gave you shows how to spell it in Hebrew. What if it was meant to be an acronym as much as a word?
- The Hebrew for Truth is "emet".
- The Hebrew for Life is "chai".
- The Hebrew for Way is "derek".
The ramifications of not knowing or understanding this are horrifying. By separating YHVH from Yeshua we have a rift between Christianity and Judaism that cannot be crossed except by conversion from 1 to the other. My Yehudi brothers will not accept a Greek Jesus who can undo the commands of the One True God- that is idolatry (which is exactly how many of them see Christianity). My Christian brothers will continue to reject Elohim's commandments/Torah as if it is a game of "Good Cop-Bad Cop" with the "God of the Old Testament" being the bad cop (angry/vengeful) and Yeshua being the "good Cop" (love/grace).
We must come back to the realization that there is only one Elohim and He is Echad. Yeshua and YeHoVaH are Echad and His names Echad.
NEVER STOP LEARNING, HIS WAYS!
