An all-but-buried Prophecy for post-911

To my fellow Watchers of Jerusalem’s Walls,
A few days ago, I received a rather jarring insight into a couple of verses in Jeremiah 39.  In my NIV the title of Jeremiah 39 was “The Fall of Jerusalem” with the identical title being used in the NKJV.  I suggest you read the whole chapter, but the final focal point will be verses 2 and 3—most likely skimmed over by some who speed-read.
The author of the article that was forwarded to me had stumbled on to something that I (and most probably you also) had never seen.  And I’d like to share it through my own reactions.  The first verse tells us that the King of Babylon had begun his siege against Jerusalem.  Simple enough!
Then verse 2 tells us about when Jerusalem fell in relation to the reign of Zedekiah, the last King of Judah.  The irony is that Zedekiah was not installed under the Hebraic order of kings, but had been set on the throne by Nebuchadnezzar himself as a Babylonian lackey!  Babylon’s first move, therefore, was in manipulating authority over Jerusalem.
But the hidden key is in verse 2 with the count-down, so let’s have a look at both verses:
This is how Jerusalem was taken: In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army and laid siege to it.   2 And on the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah's eleventh year, the city wall was broken through.
Note that 11 years, 4 months and 9 days after an opening move was made (Zedekiah as a pawn) the final breakthrough came.  Now one prudent student of the Scriptures began a count, and depending on whether you count September 11 as day one, or the day after September 11 as day one—what might happen exactly 11 years, 4 months and 9 days after 911?  Guess what?
The soon-to-come USA presidential inauguration this year will be held on 21 January. Usually inauguration in the USA is slated for January 20, but since that date falls on a Sunday this year, it will be held instead on the 21st.  Thus, the Most High even gives us a leeway in counting. So if you number the days from 911 to either January 20 or 21, it can become an exact count in either direction—matching exactly 11 years, 4 months and 9 days!
But note also that we’re neither talking about King Zedekiah, nor a US president, but Islamic inroads! And the man soon to be inaugurated wears many hats.  Last May, Newsweek labeled him the First Gay President, and only last week World Net Daily in their January 2013 issue of no-nonsense Whistle Blower Magazine, has ironically crowned him as the First Muslim President.
Coincidence?  Sorry, but the Almighty isn’t one to roll dice in Las Vegas!
So let’s do some research:  On September 11, 2001, Islamic hegemony “threw down the gauntlet”.  Insight into the worldview of the Caliphate is that once a challenge is made, it must be pursued with a vengeance.  The insistence of a mosque at Ground Zero along with mosques from Murfreesboro to Minnesota becomes as clear as a dawn in Damascus. Google the agendas, charters and secrets of Islam in Arabic if you will.  It all fits like a glove!
And Jeremiah 39:2 has its own tale to tell.  You don’t have to be a senior statistician to catch the significance.
But wait a minute!  Jeremiah 39 is about Jerusalem and not about Washington!  Yet Solomon says, there is “nothing new under the sun…”
Thus, maybe it’s time for even more homework, and a bit of recollection will never hurt anyone.  The warnings the Ancient of Days has given to Jerusalem over the millennia, are but a pilot project to Gentiles all around the globe.  Unfortunately a few spoon-fed saints may hope to be getting by on a bit of religious rhetoric, whereas real repentance for Jew or Gentile takes a tad more commitment!  A word to the self-satisfied is in order!
But we didn’t even yet get to Jeremiah 39:3:
“Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came and took seats in the Middle Gate: Nergal-Sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-Sarsekim a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officials of the king of Babylon.”
Now this is a verse that time-strapped scholars can also slide past in  seconds, but who are these Babylonian bully-boys anyway?  Well if you Google them to dig a bit deeper, Wikipedia and a few other demonology dudes can historically identify these names as bona fide demons of darkness on the Babylonian chess board!  So let’s be a bit careful.  My Bible warns that there is and will be a tad of treachery in these times, but my treasured text for tranquility—as I’ve said oft before—is Psalm 91.
Ironically, this is the exact text also suggested at the end of the Watchman’s Cry article that led me to the above Jeremiah verses a few days ago—we seem to sense a similar source!   I won’t quote it all here, but you can check it out on the Watchman's Cry URL:   I did not include all the author presented but picked up enough to get real, in that 2013 will not be the same “bad” as 2012—most likely much worse!

In closing, of course there are those out there, who delight in detecting and debasing “fear mongers.”
Actually they come in two varieties.  There are those who, like the trusting Germans back in 1938 said, “It can’t happen here”.   And it did happen! Check the names of 6 million Jews at Holocaust Memorials.  Unfortunately, if you weren’t born until after the 1950’s, you may not even remember.
Moreover, if the dubious are not much into the Good Book, they may not know 2 Peter 3:3-4 either:
First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
And then there are those also who have been fed their “religion” on sugar coated spoons who presume “they won’t be here anyway”.
Or maybe they haven’t read—or understood—their Maker’s Manual.  He never told us that there would be no problems, but rather what to do when there is a breakdown in the world system.
Back to Psalm 91.  I always suggest for one and all to memorize this particular  bit of Bible—only 16 verses--so that when there are those nights you may not be sleeping all that well, in the darkness you can run through His promises a time or so:  “…a thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.  You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling--even the LORD, who is my refuge--then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent…”
No fear here, but you might keep your seat belt fastened!
Blessings and Shalom,
Victor Schlatter
