The Royal Priesthood that Christianity does not know

Please help financially, working on two projects that need your help and prayers. The funding needed is trickling in but lacking. (Thank you) The goal is $2000.

What does the following mean if the Law was done away with?
Isaiah 2:3 and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go the law (TORAH), and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

In my never ending desire to try to get the average Christian to see the bigger picture I am always listening, learning from others key points of this discussion to focus on or to utilize.
Yesterday my friend and employer presented a thought to me which I could not overlook when examining the question that he posed.

I love Christians and my heart is that they/we see what God is revealing to all of us because of what is occurring with His beloved Israel. I simply don't beat around the bush, we don't have that kind of time.

 The question that he posed:

"All of my life as a Christian I was taught that we are a royal priesthood being raised up in the earth via the church. If this is the case why have we never been taught the priestly obligations in the book of Leviticus commanded of God?"

1 Peter 2:9 [Aramaic] But you are a chosen race who serve as Priests for The Kingdom, a holy people, a redeemed assembly; you should proclaim the praises of him who called you from darkness into his excellent light.

1 Peter 2:9 [NAS] But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Peter starts out his epistle writing to"Strangers" who are in the diaspora. He is actually quoting
Exodus 19:6 "and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."

If one thinks that Peter has stopped being Jewish and is now a practicing Christian it can and does lead that person to a conclusion that is skewed. Sort of like teaching middle school children about dinosaurs by inserting in the text, "Millions of years ago" From the moment the child thinks, "Millions of years ago" evolution opposes creation and  is now central to manipulating the child through the rest of the study on dinosaurs. Dr Kent Hovid explains this beautifully in his DVD series Creation Science

Peter is quoting Exodus (and numerous other scriptural references) because he is Jewish and would be well versed in Torah or God's instructions to Israel. He is speaking about Jews who are considered strangers in the land were they are dispersed. James or Jacob as his name actually was is also addressing the Jews of the diaspora when he writes James 1:1 "Yaqob the Servant of God and of our Lord Yeshua The Messiah to the twelve tribes which are scattered among the nations: Peace."

Acts 10:14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean."
Sounds like a Practicing Jew to me and he did not know the books of the New Testament for they had yet to be penned.

The twelve tribes of Israel were well known to be scattered. Even Jesus (Yeshua) laments that "Because of him they will be scattered again This actually happened when the 2nd Temple was destroyed and in 136 AD when Emperor Hadrian banished the Jews from the land and renamed it Palestine or Phillistia.
He effectively wiped the Jews off the map........Rome is now in our History Books!

Matthew 26:31 And Yeshua said to them, “All of you will be offended at me this night, for it is written: 'I shall strike The Shepherd, and the sheep of his flock will be scattered.'

Yeshua is actually addressing Zechariah's prophetic message:
Zechariah 13:7 "Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me," says Yahweh of Armies. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

  • Why would he not, He was with the Father when these words were put before the Prophet. He was also Jewish/Hebrew and would have known every word purposed for Moses.

  • God specifically says to the Hebrews YOU are to be a Royal Priesthood. Zechariah again confirms this concept when he writes in
Zechariah 8:23 Thus says Yahweh of Armies: "In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, 'We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

The entire book of Leviticus is teaching the Hebrews as well as the Levitical Priests how to approach Yahweh of Armies. Joshua stood before the Commander of the YHWH's Army Joshua 5:14 (I personally have studied this and concluded that he was standing before Yeshua. After all, what was our Lord doing in the BEGINNING if we agree that he was with God?)

Most Christians are taught that the Old Testament is fulfilled. Sadly, the richness of what God is communicating is lost because of this belief which has permeated the heart of Christianity for centuries. How can we be priestly without knowing the biblical commandments that Aaron lost his two sons over? How do we begin to understand the book of revelations if we don't see that John is witnessing Jesus (Yeshua) performing a Yom Kippur service in the heavenly temple.

In the book of Revelation, John sees "A man" standing in the center of a Menorah which was commanded to be in the earthly temple just as it is in the heavenly Temple. That man, Jesus (Yeshua) is doing exactly what Aaron, the High Priest had to do as was commanded by God. He is implementing the duties of what would become a Royal Priest hood. This is all been introduced to the world via...the Jews! If you look at what "that man" is doing you will see that he is performing the function of the High Priest. John knew exactly what he was seeing. John was Jewish and went to a temple service every Saturday..he along with Jesus kept the sabbath, before, during and after the resurrected Mochiach (Messiah), Lion of the tribe of Yehuda left to continue his appointed task by the Father

When John the Baptist baptized Jesus (Yeshua) the Lord was without sin. So why was he baptized and why did the Father announce him? We have been taught that Jesus began his, Public Ministry. If He was in the beginning with the Father what was he doing publicly with Adam, with Noah, with Abraham and was he doing all of it as a servant priest? [Questions that must be considered.] Caiaphas was not recognized as the High Priest by God, John the Baptist was the last High Priest of the Levitical order. I suggest to you that the transfer of the priestly order was actually done via the baptism of the Messiah. Baptism's or Mikva's were not something uncommon to practicing Jews. We get the concept of Baptism from our Jewish brethren who were taught by the "Royal Priesthood" the ways of Yehovah.

Luke 3:22 And The Spirit of Holiness was descending upon him in the form of a body of a dove, and there was a voice from Heaven, which said, “You are My Son, The Beloved, in whom I am delighted.

Why did God speak? This has largely to do with the "Ancient Custom of Adoption"  practiced at the time. This is not the place or time to introduce this discussion. Suffice it to say, God was making it known that this was his son and none had obligation to him but the Father. Yeshua began to perform the office of the High Priest. John the baptist died, was murdered shortly thereafter.

Interestingly too, Joshua led the children of those who left Egypt through the Jordan river  forty years later just before the commanded Festival (appointed time) of Passover or Pesach of which was instituted  before they left Egypt. Symbolic of a baptism before they took possession of what would become the Holy City of Israel and the land surrounding the throne of the eventual Kingdom of David. God is so very, very precise. The patterns of what God is communicating are extraordinary when you understand...HOW THE OLD TESTAMENT or TANAKH is written.

Joshua 4:19  The people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, on the east border of Jericho.

Exodus 12:1-3 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, “This month shall be for you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year for you.  Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household

So....we as Christians have been taught that we are to be a Royal Priesthood and yet we don't do any of the Priestly duties nor have we learned any of them as a part of our commitment to serving the kingdom.  We don't keep the commanded Feasts of which will be done during the Millennial reign with the exception of Yom Kippur or atonement. We don't understand the Menorah, what a temple service is about or why YHWH ordained them. We don't know what the sacrifices were for nor why they will be restored and we don't know the Order of Melchezidek (?)

Hebrews 7:17 for it is testified, "You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek
rabbi Shaul or the Apostle Paul is quoting Psalm 110:4

Psalm 110:4 Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."

My friend, my employer is right to ask the question? We need to ask questions

Please consider the following...[Keep learning please, we owe it to the one who renewed the covenant that redeems the divided Kingdom of Israel and all who are grafted into the blood covenant. Jeremiah 31:31---

Please notice: The revelation is intimately related to the set apart people or nation, Israel....Which was born again in 1948 not because of happenstance but the same plan that caused the dirt to become man. God has always, always been setting up a Kingdom appointing the Messaih to rule and reign over...over all the earth! Abraham was born in the year 1948 BCE on purpose!
