We are the cousins, the sons and the daughters of 14 brothers and sistersI grew up with 14 aunts and uncles produced by my grandparents on my Mothers side of the family. Grandpa & Grandma Lewis and Julia Bentley both are deceased. We have lost two of their children this year; two of Mom's brothers and her elder sister, Lola McLeod in November, 2011
My beloved Auntie Lola, whose eyes sparkled all of my life is now gone.
All but five have passed. I knew all of them and they knew all of the many, many, many nieces and nephews of which I am one.
This process called family has now changed generations. It has been sad while interesting too, to see how life begins and fades away. (My Father's family had 12 children. Only one son is left and and five daughters)
Still living areEdward Bentley
