Christian and Jewish Freedom

As I study the roots of Judaism I continue to find that a mixture of mysticism, paganism and a variety of religious traditions filtered their way into what Moses was shown face to face by God himself. It seems that from the time Adam opened his eyes men have fallen victim to our own interpretations, our own plan. Therefore, I have to believe that what we have experienced is the plan of men. What we continue to do is to depart from the plan of YEHOVAH. Adam begun this process......Men, all men have been banished from the garden ever since.

Note to the reader: I do not try to fit Christianity into God's word. I experience God's word in theTanahk and the Brit Chadasha and I do so from a Hebraic perspective.

Proverbs 19:21 There are many thoughts in the heart of a man: but the will of the Lord shall stand firm
Psalm 33:11 The LORD'S plan stands firm forever. His thoughts stand firm in every generation.
Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.

The disciples were following Yeshua. Moses was teaching the Word therefore, both were following the plan of God. Moses was commanded to teach the Word of the Father and so, he was teaching about the Festivals [Leviticus 23] God's calendar, [Exodus12] and how God wanted all of us to approach him. He reiterated the Sabbath to generations of the descendants of Jacob [Israel] Moses was chosen to reintroduced God's ways; He took them back to the beginning. When we think of how long the children of Jacob [the descendants] were in Egyptian captivity we realize years have come and gone. Several generations have come and gone. Nevertheless Moses was teaching them about the word or the Messiah. Today generations have come and gone but God's word is just as alive today as it was when Abel presented himself and his offering to Yahweh.

Abraham knew God's ways.
Genesis 26:5 because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”
Noah  knew God's ways
Genesis 6:9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

So what does it mean to say that Noah was a righteous man? Please click the following link so as to see what Jeff Benner explains about righteous or tsadiyq [click here]

The disciples were righteous. They kept the sabbath, they honored the festivals, knew God's calendar and followed what Noah, Abraham, and certainly Yeshua [Jesus] understood to be God's Word. The disciples were truly Christ followers having realized his authority. Yeshua took them back to the beginning. He never quoted the so called, "New Testament" or the doctrines therein, not once! He took them back to the original Christ followers....Noah, Abraham, Moses, King David, and the prophets. None of these men knew what Constantine introduced when he made his brand of Christianity the law. Unlike these men all of whom were Jews, Constantine created a religion just as did the religious leaders who followed after Moses. The men who teach to us God's ways were all raised up following God's instructions. All of them are recorded in God's word. I am sure too, that all had to repent and return to the plan of God a few times. Thank God for grace. They were all Jewish as a result of God's plan. They did not have a Sunday service that ignored the commanded, biblical sabbath. Easter, Christmas, Halloween and a host of Jewish traditions that honor other gods, and idolatry were not of their doing. None of these are in God's word.

Yeshua [Jesus] stated:

John 12:49 "For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak." He also stated in John 5:46
Aramaic translation "For if you had trusted Moses, you would also trust me, for he wrote about Me."

Moses told the children of Israel [because he kept God's word ] what was presented to him. Yehovah was teaching Moses about the planned birth of a prophet, an act of the Father that would be miraculous! He was teaching a nation how to teach us.
Deuteronomy 18:18 "I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him." He raised him up as opposed to fashioned him out of dirt.

To the Jews, including the disciples, they knew these verses. This was not foreign to them. When the disciples realized that Yeshua was the Christ, was the Savior, was that Prophet they did not stop honoring the biblical calendar, the Lord's festivals, or the sabbath. None of them stopped being Jewish. They understood the corruption of the word by many of the sects teaching Judaism which by now had a host of doctrines apart from what Moses presented. The understanding of who and what Israel was became more of a desire to be a part of.  The Kingdom was no longer a faith based, hope but an actual confirmation. The Kingdom to come was physically confirmed by a Jewish man who would return as the conquering King. Also part of God's plan and not men...the disciples got it!

James A. Fowler wrote:
"The English word "religion" is etymologically derived from the Latin word religo, meaning to "bind up." Religion binds people up in rules and regulations or in ritualistic patterns of devotion."
I don't agree with his take on Christianity separate from the Jews and TORAH but he did get this statement right.

It is quite simple, God created Israel so as to usher into the earth a Kingdom of those who followed his word. The word leads a man out of condemnation into restoration to the Father. Moses understood this and so too did Rabbi Shaul or the Apostle Paul. The disciples did not want to be a part of a religious system but rather a Kingdom to come. This is very, very important. I am no longer a part of a religious system I too, am a "Kid of the Kingdom" That Kingdom is here and the King is coming to take his rightful place on the "Throne of David" who was himself a shadow of the Messiah and also very Jewish...a Christ follower.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God." This verse is a form of poetry but John is quoting the books of the Tanakh, wrongly called the "OLD TESTAMENT"
part one

John is quoting verses from before the writings that the Catholic Church horribly deemed to be the Old way or the Old Testament. This term is antisemitic and means the Jews were the old way and the church is the new way. The disciples would have stood against this thinking with their lives...In fact, they did! They did so because they were Christ followers but not in the manner that most of Christianity understands the term today.
 part two

Psalm 8:23 "And before the world he was possessed by me, and from the beginning, before he would establish the Earth."

Micah 5:2 goes on to explain more of what Israel is to the Father when he says..."But as for you, Bethlehem *Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity." Notice he never calls Israel a church and neither does Jeremiah when he states:

Jeremiah 31:31-33 “Indeed, a time is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. It will not be like the old covenant that I made with their ancestors when I delivered them from Egypt. For they violated that covenant, even though I was like a faithful husband to them,” says the Lord. “But I will make a new covenant with the whole nation of Israel after I plant them back in the land,” says the Lord. “I will put my law within them  and write it on their hearts and minds. I will be their God and they will be my people."  Not one time does Jeremiah say Church.

So what was a disciple of the Lord before his flesh and after his flesh? What I do is to share with Christians why we need to go back to understand this. Two thousand years have come and gone. During this time the church has not taught to us that the disciples kept the TORAH, kept the festivals, the sabbath, God's calendar and obeyed the commandments. What happened to cause us to not do what the disciples did?
The answer begins to show up in  3 John 1:9  Aramaic translation "I desired to write to The Assembly, but he who loves to be their number one, Diotrophes, does not receive us"

For nearly two thousand years much of Christianity has learned how to see the Bible as Diotrophes did.  The influences of Marcionism, Emperor Constantine, & Augustine destroyed what the disciples, certainly Apostle Paul [Rabbi Shaul] knew concerning the Jewish Messiah. God did not contradict himself We contradicted our teachers because they too became divided.

Aramaic translation 2 John 1-9 "No one who is a violator and does not continue in the teaching of The Messiah has God in him. He who continues in his teaching, this one has The Father and The Son."
When this was written the books of NEW TESTAMENT did not exist. So what was this Jew, who was a Christ follower, who kept the Sabbath, the Festivals and who followed God's Calendar saying? He was saying the Messiah showed to us what Moses taught to all of us. We must hear God's word, obey his voice, keep his statutes and obey his laws. The word did not tell us that these attributes of the Father were no longer practical. Emperor Constantine did and he did so because of the teachings of men like Diotrophes.

Christianity as a result of Catholicism adopted many, many beliefs that go against everything that  the disciples taught to us. A mixture plagues the last 2000 years just as was the case when the Messiah came and spoke to the Sanhedrin.  The religious system of the day had 1800 years of mixture from what Judaism adopted from years of captivity and assimilation into other cultures. My gosh Caiaphas was placed into office by Rome not the Aaronic priesthood ordained by God in Leviticus. Interestingly enough and throughout the last 2000 years God has corrected Christianity a few times. The Reformation and the Puritans as well as the Evangelical movement are all course corrections in a way, but, we never returned to TORAH in the way that the disciples knew the word.

I have freedom as a believing Christian because I understand what the Jews taught to us. I understand what was perverted and caused us to adopt over 36,000 differing doctrines based on church religiosity. I understand how the TORAH teaches us to see God's patterns, dress rehearsals, convocations and appointed times. What is most amazing is that I see them happening in our generation and so I am eager to hear his voice, keep his commandments, statutes and obey his laws just as did Adam.

Having been given grace, Noah, having been given grace, Abraham, having been given grace, Moses, having been given grace, all of the disciples, having received grace and certainly Rabbi Shaul, having been given grace. I reject Catholicism, some of Judaism, all of Islam and confront Christianity because, I live in a generation where the God of Israel [The Israel that King David understood] is also confronting much of what is now Christianity. Christianity that none of the disciples would recognize.........Judaism in my opinion is a veil covering the eyes of a very secular Israel.

To be very clear, I believe Christianity has amazing truth just as does Judaism but we have layered both with paganism and idolatry. This too is a pattern, a pattern of fallen men.

John 8:32 “And you will know the truth, and that truth will set you free.”
John 1:14 "And The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of The Only Begotten of The Father, full of grace and truth."
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice from Heaven that said, “Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with the children of men, and he dwells with them and they shall be his people and the same God is with them and shall be their God.

Israel is any nation, any man, any person, any individual who understands the plan and submits to it...... The Messiah will rule from the land of Israel and he will rule the one new man...just as he promised. It was through the descendants of Jacob that we are realizing why Israel exists at all..The enemy, through religion, was purposed to keep us studying into God's word. We had to exercise choice rather than swallow a lie. The word is our source and Israel is what God raised up to deliver that source.....The enemy parked himself right smack down in the middle....of the garden But he did not create himself!

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God that hides the word, and the glory of the King that seeks for the word.

I am free therefore I am reconnecting the GOSPEL back to the TORAH so as to better understand...the PLAN......
I AM FREE
For nearly two thousand years many have learned how to see the Bible as Diotrophes, Marcion, Constantine and Augustine taught. I am returning to the road to Damascus whereby Rabbi Shaul was forced to see what Moses saw. Moses did not see what Martin Luther saw. I can now put these two men together and realize a little bit more about the plan of redemption. The Kingdom of Israel will be full of many peoples from every nation.

Many of you think that I challenge Christianity in favor of the Jews. Actually, what I do is hopefully help us to return to what those Jews knew before we created the terms Old Testament and New Testament. To throw away all of what our brethren the Jews know is simply stupid. Likewise, to toss everything that Christianity has taught is just as stupid. Who among you is willing to build a bridge back to grace and truth? Who among all of us wants to return to the Father's ways?

Understand clearly, however, that we can no longer mix the plans of men into the words of the Bible and to expect to come out in God's plan.  We must COME OUT of our ways in order to return to HIS WAY
I have returned to the TORAH, I took the gospel with me. I keep the sabbath, practice God's appointed times or the Festivals. I am learning what the Jews know and question what Christianity has become. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I do not know....I do not go to Christian churches on Sunday as a part of my faith but I do visit many churches....I read the Talmud for perspective and the entire Bible for food....I do not believe that Jesus fulfilled the Law and I do not believe the law is Rabbinic tradition. I believe what Abraham obeyed.

May YHVH bless all of you. And please pray for ISRAEL..this includes the land, too!
