In June of 2009 the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob changed my understanding of bigotry, prejudice, and the ambiguity found in how we relate to one another as a result. He showed to me how all of the indignity of racial injustice is a direct result of sin. We did not hear his voice; keep his charge, his commandments, his statutes, and his laws. (Genesis 26:4-5)
This applies to Blacks from Africa, Jews from Israel, Indians from India, Asians from Asia and Anglo’s from Europe. The consequences are as varied as are the races. What we have done to one another throughout history is truly embarrassing when for a moment we consider one planet, one people. For as long as we have been killing one another, enslaving one another, torturing one another and literally abusing one another we appear to be unique in all of the known universe. Dangling on one planet hell bent on polluting the generations to come.
We collectively represent the most amazing aspect of this planet and the most destructive in the same breath. This has been the hallmark of humanity. A rather sad commentary no matter how much hope we have.
On September 22 1862, President Abraham Lincoln sent forth a document declaring the following:
Whereas on the 22nd day of September, A.D. 1862, a proclamation was issued by the President of the United States, containing, among other things, the following, to wit:
"That on the 1st day of January, A.D. 1863, all persons held as slaves within any State or designated part of a State the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free; and the executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authority thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of such persons and will do no act or acts to repress such persons, or any of them, in any efforts they may make for their actual freedom.
"That the executive will on the 1st day of January aforesaid, by proclamation, designate the States and parts of States, if any, in which the people thereof, respectively, shall then be in rebellion against the United States; and the fact that any State or the people thereof shall on that day be in good faith represented in the Congress of the United States by members chosen thereto at elections wherein a majority of the qualified voters of such States shall have participated shall, in the absence of strong countervailing testimony, be deemed conclusive evidence that such State and the people thereof are not then in rebellion against the United States."
Now, therefore, I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, by virtue of the power in me vested as Commander-In-Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States in time of actual armed rebellion against the authority and government of the United States, and as a fit and necessary war measure for supressing said rebellion, do, on this 1st day of January, A.D. 1863, and in accordance with my purpose so to do, publicly proclaimed for the full period of one hundred days from the first day above mentioned, order and designate as the States and parts of States wherein the people thereof, respectively, are this day in rebellion against the United States the following, to wit:
Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana (except the parishes of St. Bernard, Palquemines, Jefferson, St. John, St. Charles, St. James, Ascension, Assumption, Terrebone, Lafourche, St. Mary, St. Martin, and Orleans, including the city of New Orleans), Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia (except the forty-eight counties designated as West Virginia, and also the counties of Berkeley, Accomac, Morthhampton, Elizabeth City, York, Princess Anne, and Norfolk, including the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth), and which excepted parts are for the present left precisely as if this proclamation were not issued.
And by virtue of the power and for the purpose aforesaid, I do order and declare that all persons held as slaves within said designated States and parts of States are, and henceforward shall be, free; and that the Executive Government of the United States, including the military and naval authorities thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of said persons.
And I hereby enjoin upon the people so declared to be free to abstain from all violence, unless in necessary self-defence; and I recommend to them that, in all case when allowed, they labor faithfully for reasonable wages.
And I further declare and make known that such persons of suitable condition will be received into the armed service of the United States to garrison forts, positions, stations, and other places, and to man vessels of all sorts in said service.
And upon this act, sincerely believed to be an act of justice, warranted by the Constitution upon military necessity, I invoke the considerate judgment of mankind and the gracious favor of Almighty God.
The Emancipation Proclamation above set into motion the end of slavery within the United States of America. It did not close the wounds, perhaps, only God can.
The United States of America was not a nation that initiated slavery. This nation did not create the practice of slavery. The practice was common world wide. What Black America possibly does not understand all of these many years later was that slavery of African people was as common as was milk and cookies.
Our nation, America was born into a world that practiced slavery. The birth of this nation I would suggest was the catalyst that solidified the destruction of slavery on a global scale. Unfortunately, it is resurfacing with a vicious ferocity on this planet once again. Ignorance to the King of creation is stoking this madness once again.
The American Anti-Slavery Society was a sister organization if you will of the, “Society for the Mitigation and Gradual Abolition of Slavery throughout the British Dominions” more commonly called Anti-Slavery Society within the British Empire
The Slavery Abolition Act of 1833 declared an end to slavery throughout the British Empire with a few exceptions. Both societies had huge support and had notable historical figures. William Wilberforce of Great Britain and Frederick Douglas Jr. a former Slave here in the United States to name just two. [Frederick Douglas Jr. is a personal hero of mine.] In other words, slavery was a divisive issue in both countries.
Something even more amazing happened to the British Empire that began to weaken her colonial appetite: In the year 1783, the loss of thirteen colonies on the North American continent was now a reality. Nevertheless, the British Empire experience nearly a century of unchallenged supremacy.
The Ottoman Empire and the Islamic Empire controlled most of the Northern part of Africa. All of what is called the Middle East today, and certainly much of Asia Minor. Slavery of people was a component of Sharia Law, allowed and promoted throughout much of the known world. The white slave traders participated regularly in the governmental system known as Sharia. So too, did many Africans and people from every race. The end of the Ottoman Empire did not end Sharia
Chinese slavery existed and is well documented. The following is an excerpt from an article found in the encyclopedia Britannica:
Slavery Historical survey > Slave-owning societies
“Slavery is known to have existed as early as the Shang dynasty (18th–12th century BC) in China. It has been studied thoroughly in ancient Han China (206 BC–AD 25), where perhaps 5 percent of the population was enslaved. Slavery continued to be a feature of Chinese society down to the 20th century. For most of that period it appears that slaves were generated in the same ways they were elsewhere, including capture in war, slave raiding, and the sale of insolvent debtors. In addition, the Chinese practiced self-sale into slavery, the sale of women and children (to satisfy debts or because the seller could not feed them), and the sale of the relatives of executed criminals. Finally, kidnapping seems to have produced a regular flow of slaves at some times. The go-between or middleman was an important figure in the sale of local people into slavery; he provided the distance that made such slaves into outsiders, for the purchasers did not know their origins. Chinese family boundaries were relatively permeable, and some owners established kin like relations with their slaves; male slaves were appointed as heirs when no natural offspring existed. As was also the case in other slave-owning societies, slaves in China were often luxury consumption items who constituted a drain on the economy. The reasons China never developed into a slave society are many and complex, but certainly an abundance of non-slave labor at low prices was one of the major ones.”

Slavery was a sanctioned system of commerce. It was not an invention of white people. Many of the first slaves to America were white folks according to the research of Michael Hoffman (http://www.revisionisthistory.org/forgottenslaves.html) Equally and according to Foster R Dulles in his book, Labor In America, a History, white folks were indentured slaves for life. Many were Irish, or Australian. White folks and blacks folks were part of the industrial revolution to be sure. Many were slaves particularly children.
The entire country of Australia was known as the penal colony under the British Empire. The irony of Australia was that the convicts began to enslave the indigenous people of the land.
The history of the Irish slavery and castrations is remarkable. So too, the horror of the British slave trade [ white people] Neither are ever uttered out of the mouth of so called civil right leaders of today.
Over the course of the last 18 months, I have opened the history books, scanned the Internet, spent hours in the bible, the Koran, and researched a wide spectrum of information concerning slavery. One thing I have realized in doing all of this is that most people don’t know history. I have been fascinated with history since I was a child.
I do not have a particular field of study nor am I scholarly or well educated. I certainly do not consider myself to be an intellectual or academically trained at writing. My horrible grammar should be a first clue to anyone reading my writings. Moreover, I tend to sit down and start writing what is in my head at the moment. Nothing that I do is particularly focused. However, in June of 2009 my God, the God of biblical Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob asked me to do something. I am doing this very thing even now. We who are believers simply must see who we are through the Messiah's eyes. He created the differences and was pleased.
The more that I unravel historical fact the less I am concerned with racial identification. I consider myself to be a “Kid of the coming Kingdom” grafted into the royal bloodline of King David. The more that I realize how six thousand years of complacency has so woefully robbed from people of every race, the more obvious it becomes that we are simply lost. I understand the glory written across the heavens.
We are the most imaginative creation on this planet moving through a perpetual darkness from second to second, hour by hour, day by day, and year by year. What we do to one another on this journey is tragic.
I understand why I was awakened one night in the month of June. The God of creation is culminating this effort shortly and he is asking those who hear his voice to return, return to him. The movement of his spirit across this creation is asking all of us to see one another through his eyes. He does not want us to come to him as “People of Color” but as children of creation, his children.
The slavery of humanity has robbed from all of us. The sin that causes it continues to destroy far too many of us. If you are a believer in the God of biblical Israel and if you are a believer in the words found in Genesis through Revelation please return to the God of the Garden of Eden. You must do so with forgiveness and repentance.
What I have found in studying the root of my faith is so beyond anything that this life has shown to me thus far. The bible itself has become a book of life. The Old Testament or the Tenakh is like a living, breathing miracle to me. The historical information is not historical at all but rather a record of unfolding events repeating second to second, hour by hour, day by day, and year by year. We are living one of many repetitions that continue unfolding revelation to humanity. He is real and so was the death and resurrection of his son.
You simply must see your identity through the Creator’s eyes and not the color of your skin or the injustice of human slavery.
I know that our creator is very conditional. He meant what he said when he commanded us to “Love our neighbor as our self." Slavery is but one tool promoting disharmony to the commandments of our creator. Willful disobedience is the source. Looking back in order to understand any of this is why we study the bible in the first place. So look back and learn.
Racial hatred, human slavery, and bigotry of any kind are not a God creation but rather, a man creation. I suggest you consider who to follow in your bid to be healed and set free. Following Godless men and by Godless, I mean those who could care less about Yahweh... is about as productive as is walking into a burning house. You will get burned and so too, will your generations!
Learn what the study of Hebrew Root is. Let me know what happens in your life
When I realized how important knowing the Jewishness of Jesus was my whole world changed. It is so very, very hard to share with people what happens when you start looking into the manner by which the Father raised up the Hebrew people. What he told them to do and how these very things reveal him and the entire story of humanity blows your mind. Furthermore, when the eyes are opened so too is the door to eternity.
The things that keep us tied to the lie such as slavery and skin color are causal. My prayer is that all people realize the sin that we perpetuate against one another curses nations as a result of the curses we hand to our children.
Read Deuteronomy 28 again or for the first time. If you believe in this book than you must consider that racial, hatred is a curse woven through the lives of virtually all people. The enemy of God tends to take breaks in his evil inclinations because we out do his abilities, regularly.
You have the ability to be a curse breaker. You have to know the history and not the pain. You have to also walk in redemption, think as one saved and live as one keeping the commandments. You must know Jeremiah 31:31-40 and realize that this is talking about the people of Israel and not the people of religion. You must go back to the beginning!
You absolutely must understand what the TWO Sticks of Ezekiel 37 mean
31 "The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to [a] them, [b] " declares the LORD.
33 "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
35 This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is his name:
36 "Only if these decrees vanish from my sight," declares the LORD,"will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me."
37 This is what the LORD says: Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done," declares the LORD.
38 "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when this city will be rebuilt for me from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. 39 The measuring line will stretch from there straight to the hill of Gareb and then turn to Goah. 40 The whole valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown, and all the terraces out to the Kidron Valley on the east as far as the corner of the Horse Gate, will be holy to the LORD. The city will never again be uprooted or demolished."
15 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
16 “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’
17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.
18 “And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Will you not show us what you mean by these?’—
19 say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’
20 And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.
21 “Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;
22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.
23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
24 “David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.
25 Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
28 The nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.”
I implore you all to see who you are through God’s eyes and not race. We really don’t have much time to understand who we are to him. His kingdom is coming, amen!
He is separating those who obeyed his commandments from those who don’t. This is not a racial issue, never has been.
